浅谈中国古籍装帧艺术特点及对现代书籍设计的启发——以蝴蝶装为例

On the Artistic Characteristics of Ancient Chinese Book Binding and Inspiration to Modern Book Design: A Case Study of Butterfly-fold Building

书籍是一个时代的生命,是传播信息的媒体。回顾书籍发展的悠久历史,装帧艺术在书籍设计发展的历程中十分重要,其独到的传统工艺铭刻着一个时代的记忆。具有丰富历史文化内涵的中国古典书籍装帧艺术,一定程度上潜移默化地影响了现代书籍的设计与发展。在研究古籍的博大精深的装帧艺术特点时,如何将其与现代书籍设计相结合和再创造也值得我们深思。文章以蝴蝶装为例,从古籍的历史脉络、古籍的装帧特点、古籍传统工艺及与现代图书的对比方面,循序探索中国古籍对于现代书籍的启发作用。

Books are the life of an age and the media of information dissemination. Looking back at the long history of book development, binding art is very important for book design. In the process of book development, its unique traditional craft shows the memory of an era. The Chinese classical books with rich historical and cultural connotations have influenced the design and development of modern books to some extent. In our study of the extensive and profound artistic characteristics of ancient books binding, how to combine it with modern book design and re-creation is of great importance. Taking butterfly-fold building as an example, this paper explores the enlightening effect of ancient Chinese books on modern books step by step from the historical context of ancient books, the binding characteristics of ancient books, the traditional craft of ancient books and the comparison with modern books.
