Production and operation status of China paper industry in 2019

“2019年造纸生产和运行呈现先低后高态势,整体保持平稳态势。全年纸及纸板生产总量与上年基本持平,产销基本保持平衡。预计2019年全年国内制浆和造纸生产量和消费量为:(1)纸及纸板生产总量约为10370万吨,同比下降约0.6%。(2)纸及纸板表观消费量约为10260万吨,同比下降约1.7%。(3)造纸用纸浆生产总量约为7000万吨,同比下降约2.6%。(4)造纸用纸浆消费量约为9300万吨,同比下降约1%。”

In 2019,the production and operation of China paper industry remains stable across the board.The total paper and paperboard production was basically the same as the previous year,and the production and sales remained basically balanced,said Mr.Zhao Wei,the chairman of China Paper Association.It is estimated that the domestic pulp and paper output and consumption in 2019 will be:(1)The total output of paper and paperboard is about 10.37 million tons,a year-on-year decrease of about 0.6%.(2)Apparent consumption of paper and cardboard is approximately 10.26 million tons,a decrease of approximately 1.7%year-on-year.(3)The total output of papermaking pulp is about 70 million tons,a year-on-year decrease of about 2.6%.(4)Consumption of papermaking pulp is approximately 93 million tons,a decrease of approximately 1%.
