“新旧孪生”——杨浦滨江永安栈房旧址修缮工程

A Tale of the New and the Old:Conservation and Renovation of Yong’an Warehouse at Yangpu Waterfront,Shanghai

上海正在进行城市滨江空间的转型建设,如何使工业建筑遗产在保留历史记忆的同时重获新生,顺利融入新的城市空间和城市生活,是当代建筑师共同面对的难题。文章以上海杨浦滨江永安栈房旧址修缮工程为案例,回顾梳理了保护研究与设计改造的过程,指出建筑师根据永安栈房东西两座建筑的不同现状,采取不同方式,多方参与,以强调遗产价值为导向,尝试在改造中创造一种新旧之间的“孪生”关系,为工业建筑遗产的保护与改造提供了一种思路。

Urban riverside space of Shanghai is under transformation.How to renovate industrial heritage buildings to regain their vitality while retaining their historical memories,and integrate them into the contemporary cityscape and today’s urban lifestyle is a common challenge faced by contemporary architects.This article takes the conservation and utilisation of Yong’an Warehouse at Yangpu Waterfront in Shanghai as an example and reviews its process of heritage conservation research and design.The architect took different approaches according to the different status of the two buildings of Yong’an Warehouse,trying to create a‘twin’relationship between the historical and the contemporary in the renovation.This project presents a conservation and utilisation approach that includes multilateral participation,emphasising on value-orientation,and providing an alternative thread for the conservation and renovation of industrial heritage architecture.
