2019年II月26日,联合国粮食及农业组织大会第41届会议审议通过,每年5月21日为“国际茶日”,以赞美茶叶的经济、社会和文化价值,促进全球农业的可持续发展;这一提案由中国重点参与推动,并在2019年6月罗马闭幕的联合国粮食及农业组织大会上审议通过提交,不到半年,便在2019年的11月27日在联合国大会上向全世界宣布。
On November 26, 2019, the Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations adopted a resolution that designated May 21 the International Tea Day. The International Tea Day is designed to celebrate the economic, social and cultural value of tea and promote sustainable development of global agriculture. China was instrumental in coming up with and supporting this draft resolution. It was first submitted to and accepted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations at a conference in June 2019 in Rome.
