纵观古今中外,作为绘画艺术,从人类开始进入起居生活就已经出现。我国早在石器时代就出现绘画艺术,当时的绘画材质是在橙红色陶坯上描绘,入窑烧之后出现黑、白、褐色图文,称之为彩陶,著名的有:仰韶文化半坡型的《人面鱼纹彩陶盆》、庙底沟型的《鹤鱼石斧图彩陶缸》,马家窑文化的《舞蹈纹彩陶盆》。这些彩陶艺术质朴简约,是人类的早期绘画形式。后期又出现岩画,岩画就是用动物的血或皮脂做颜料描绘在用尖利物在岩壁上刻画的图画线条上。随着人类文明的进程,帛画,绢画,纸本绘画,瓷上绘画不断出现。不过不可否认的是石器时代的彩陶绘画是我国毛笔绘画艺术的源头,由彩陶绘画艺术分支为:绢纸绘画艺术和陶瓷绘画艺术两支,两者都是采用毛笔沾墨料进行描绘。发展到当代,全球绘画形式则多种多样:欧美的油画,素描,东方的国画,版画等等。然而这些绘画艺术都可以通过陶瓷材质表现出来,且别有一番风味,本文就以多种绘画形式运用陶瓷材质所表现的效果,以及各种绘画形式运用陶瓷表现的教学教育进行略论。
