On the development of Narthang edition of Tibetan Buddhist Canon and its research status at home and abroad

《甘珠尔》是一部将佛陀的教法收集和整理而成的藏文大藏经。文章根据藏汉英第一手资料及研究成果,探讨了西藏后弘期学者迥丹热赤及其学徒从卫藏阿里等地收集、整理编篡西藏第一部《甘珠尔》一纳塘版的整个过程以及在西藏编纂大藏经历史上所占的地位及影响,并对国内外学界对此所做研究状况进行了归纳和梳理。

Kangyur is one of the two main collections of Tibetan Buddhist Canon.The compilation ofNarthang Kangyur and Tengyur in Tibet has a history of over one-thousand years.By relying on numerable reliable sources and materials,this paper surveys and analyses how the manuscripts and woodblock prints of Narthang Kangyur were prepared by scholars including Chomden Rikral and his disciples during the second diffusion of Buddhism in Tibet as well as the scholarly research status ofNarthang Kangyur and its catalogue at home and abroad.
