在中华人民共和国70华诞之际,卫兴华等三人被授予"人民教育家"的称号"。人民"二字贯穿卫兴华教授60余年的教学和研究,他始终秉持着马克思主义经济学的立场,始终坚持共同富裕这一社会主义的本质内容和根本目标,始终坚守"效率与公平并重"这一实现共同富裕的手段。卫兴华教授既是人民的教育家,也是人民的经济学家,深入学习和领会卫兴华教授的经济学思想,对于深化改革、发展中国特色社会主义市场经济以及建设中国特色政治经济学具有重要的借鉴意义。

At the 70th birthday of the People’s Republic of China,Professor Wei Xing-hua and others two people were honored with the title of"People’s Educator"."People"permeated from the beginning to the end in professor Wei Xing-hua’s teaching and research over the past 60 years, he upheld the position of Marxist Economics all along, advocated the standpoint that common prosperity is the essential content and fundamental goal of socialism, insisted on the viewpoint that we should pay equal attention to efficiency and fairness in order to achieve common prosperity. Professor Wei Xing-hua is not only People’s Educator, but also People’s Economist. In-depth study and understanding of Professor Wei Xing-hua’s economic thinking is of great significance for deepening reforms, developing a socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics, and building a political economy with Chinese characteristics.
