微观视角下的产业升级与劳动力迁移——兼论转型期的劳动力迁移特征

Industrial Upgrading and Labor Migration from a Micro-perspective——The Characteristics of Labor Migration During the Transition Period

本文系统性地研究了产业升级对劳动力迁移的影响以及迁移的区位选择。研究表明,城市产业升级会显著提高劳动力迁移就业的概率。这种影响主要集中于受教育水平更低的劳动者,或者是职业技能更低的劳动者。对迁移地的选择而言,迁移劳动力更倾向于选择省外城市作为新的就业地,且目的地城市的产业发展水平高于户口登记地的概率会更高。本文利用城市层面的加总数据研究也证实了产业升级对劳动力迁移的这种影响。进一步地,本文根据流动人口样本进行流入地选择的研究,结果表明,整体而言产业升级并不影响劳动力选择流入地,但地理距离和产业距离会对劳动力决策产生影响。最后,根据研究结论本文提出了相关建议。

This paper systematically studies the impact of industrial upgrading on labor migration and the location choice of migration.Studies have shown that urban industrial upgrading will significantly increase the probability of labor migration.This effect is mainly concentrated on workers with lower levels of education or those who are professionally low-skilled.For the choice of the city of migration,the migration labor force is more inclined to choose the city outside the province as a new place of employment,and the probability of selecting the destination city with a higher level of industrial development than the household registration place is higher.This paper also confirms the impact of industrial upgrading on labor migration by using the aggregated data research at the city level.Further,the paper conducts research on the selection of inflows based on the sample of the floating population.The results show that the overall industrial upgrading does not affect the choice of labor inflows,but the geographical distance and industrial distance will have an impact on labor decision-making.Finally,based on the research conclusions,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions.
