“结构整合”与“渐进引导”——对我国城市设计时间维度的思考

“Structural Integration” and “Progressive Guidance”: A Reflection on the Time Dimension of Chinese Urban Design

城市设计在城市高速发展阶段推动了城市空间的巨变并为城市建设注入新的动力,然而城市设计实践中也面临着城市空间延续性弱化与多样性表达“混沌”等问题,导致城市空间的时间意象愈发错乱,城市设计多元目标难以落实。文章引入时间维度,通过对空间与时间的矛盾运动的探讨论证了城市空间的内在规律性、动态延续性与多样复杂性,认为时间视角下城市空间的本质为整体稳定性与局部创造性。在此基础上,探讨时间视角下城市设计本质的动态干预性、时空整体性与文化多样性,并结合当前城市设计实践层次体系,提出总体层面的“结构整合设计”与地段层面的“渐进引导设计”策略,以期在动态城市空间演变中促成城市历史与现实物质环境的整合与多元社会需求的协调,实现城市空间的历史延续性与现实创造性的统一。

Urban design has played a critical role in urban spatial changes and served as a driving force in high speed urban development,yet urban design faces spatial and image problems with development vision difficult to realize.Introducing the time dimension,the paper demonstrates the internal rules,dynamic continuity,and diverse complexity of urban space from the perspective of space-time contradictory movement.The paper argues that urban space is stable in general and creative in parts,and urban design is a dynamic intervention incorporating space-temporal generality and cultural diversity.“Structural integration design”at general stage and“progressive guidance design”at district level are proposed to promote physical and historical integration in urban space evolution,and realize unity of historical continuity and modern creativity.
