Medical Equipment Management Based on Value Engineering Theory

The purchase,daily management,maintenance and renewal of medical equipment are closely related to the medical level and economic benefits of the hospital.The definition and system architecture of value engineering were summarized in this article,and its application in equipment procurement,maintenance,and update was analyzed.It was found that value engineering has the characteristics of earlyness,efficiency,full life cycle and multi-professional synergy in practice.The value engineering analysis method is used to maximize the benefits of medical equipment,and the perfect combination of value engineering and equipment procurement,maintenance and update can promote the economic and social benefits of medical institutions.
