严歌苓小说中的民族冲突与融合话语浅论

On the Discourse of Ethnic Conflict and Fusion in Yan Geling’s Novels

从跨学科、跨民族、跨文化的角度研究严歌苓移民小说中的异族交往主题,总结其小说创作的规律、价值及对我们的启示。严歌苓的移民小说充满种族、性别、文化的冲突与融合,早期移民遭受了严重的内部殖民和种族歧视、仇杀,生命财产安全都没有保障,后来的移民与白人的交往常常出现婚恋悲剧,原因有很多种:拯救与逍遥的冲突,种族偏见、歧视与隔膜等,还出现了多种族交融、婚姻同化的现象。

This paper studies the theme of alien contact of Yan Geling’s immigrant novels,from interdisciplinary,cross-national,cross-cultural angle and summarizes her novels ’writing style,value,and enlightenment for us. Yan Geling’s immigrant novels are full of the conflict and integration of race,gender and culture. The early immigrants suffered severe internal colonization and racial discrimination,revenge,so their safety of life and property are not guaranteed. The contact between later immigrants and the white often turned out to be romantic tragedy. There are many different reasons for this: the conflict between salvation and being free and unfettered,racial prejudice and discrimination,the diaphragm and so on. There have appeared multiracial fusion and marriage assimilation.
