摘要
Blasted(1995)is knitted by Sarah Kane as a huge and intricate net of power, among whose threads every character gets entangled.By deconstructing the configuration of power from two dimensions:body shame, the seen body,we are disclosed how power hierarchy is established. In Blasted,Kane deconstructs the power game by revealing its alienating effect on people, dissolves civilized humans:once stripped off the veneer of civilization, the repressed animality residing in humans would take hold and re⁃duce us to barbarians, still the play hints that humanistic love can function as a alternative to power in ruling the world.
