The new curriculum reform requires English classroom teaching to expand and innovate teaching methods to create a better English learning environment for students.Starting from the practice of English teaching,this paper analyzes the positive role of English songs in English teaching,and discusses the specific ways to stimulate students'interest in learning by integrating English songs.It also discusses the application of English songs from the aspects of vocabulary teaching,grammar teaching and listening teaching,so as to better optimize the means of English teaching.
