摘要
针对高校非英语专业研究生在课堂上学习动机普遍不强的问题,对广东某"双一流"学科建设高校的160名研究生开展了问卷调查,结果发现:研究生的英语学习动机强度处于中等水平;主成分因子分析法提取出四个影响他们动机不足的因子,包括缺乏兴趣和自信心、教师的教学能力、消极的学习态度、教学内容等,且高分组与低分组在因子二和因子三存在显著差异。"双一流"建设离不开高水平研究生英语教育的助推力量。为了增强研究生的学习动机,加快我国高校"双一流"建设的步伐,从课程设置、师资力量和教学模式三方面提出了提高研究生英语教学质量的对策。
Non-English major postgraduate students’motivation to learn English in class is generally impaired.In this study,a motivation questionnaire was conducted on 160 non-English major postgraduate students from a first-class discipline in construction in a university of Guangdong province.The results showed that the motivational intensity of postgraduates was at a medium level.A factor analysis extracted four demotivating factors:lack of interest and confidence,teachers’teaching capability,negative learning attitudes,and teaching content.There was a significant difference between the upper-and lower-level students in factor two and factor three."Double First-Class"construction is inseparable from the boosting power of postgraduate English education.In order to enhance postgraduates’motivation and accelerate"Double First-Class"construction,some English teaching strategies are thus set forward from the perspectives of curriculum,faculty and teaching model.
