基于语料库的《生死疲劳》英译本人称代词显化研究

Corpus-based Study On Personal Pronoun Explicitation of The English Version of Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out

人称代词显化一直是翻译共性研究的重点之一。本文通过语料库手段结合定性定量分析对葛浩文英译本《生死疲劳》中人称代词显化现象进行考查。研究发现其英译本中第三人称代词是原文的使用量的2倍之多,本文认为造成显化的原因主要是英汉语法的隐性、显性差异,以及译者主体性的发挥。

Personal pronoun explicitation is always the key point of studying on translation universals.This work aims to study the personal pronoun explicitation phenomenon in the English version of Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out with corpus and quality and quantity analysis.It is found that the use of the third-personal pronoun is more than two times of the original text.This work finds out the reasons for explicitation are the difference between Chinese and English grammar which hold the characters of explicit and implicit respectively and the subjectivity of the translator.
