中美公共图书馆微博服务比较研究

A Comparative Study of Microblog Services between Chinese and American Public Libraries

文章选取中美各10所公共图书馆作为研究对象,采集其新浪微博与推特数据,结合统计分析与内容分析方法,从基本情况、发展情况、内容形式和内容主题四方面系统对比中美公共图书馆微博服务的异同。比较研究发现:中国公共图书馆微博开通速度更快,美国公共图书馆微博服务的积极性及用户参与度较高;中国公共图书馆微博发展增减参半,美国公共图书馆微博发展较稳定;中美公共图书馆微博内容形式各有优势;中国公共图书馆微博更注重信息导向的内容主题,美国公共图书馆微博更注重行动导向和社区导向的内容主题。基于此,文章在借鉴相关经验的基础上,提出中国公共图书馆微博服务的优化建议。

This paper selected 10 public libraries in each country of China and the United States as research objects,collected data from Sina and Twitter platform,and combined statistical analysis and content analysis methods to systematically compare the similarities and differences of microblog services of public libraries in China and the United States from four aspects:basic situation,development situation,content form and content theme.This comparative study found that Chinese public libraries set up microblog accounts more quickly,while American public libraries had higher enthusiasm and user participation of microblog services.The microblog development of American public libraries was relatively stable,while that of Chinese public libraries was mixed.Both Chinese and American public libraries had their own advantages in the content form of microblogs.Chinese public library microblogs paid more attention to information-oriented content topics,while American public library microblogs paid more attention to action-oriented and community-oriented content topics.Learning from the experience of America,this paper put forward some suggestions for the optimization of microblog services of Chinese public libraries.
