Seventy Years of Evolution of Civilian Participation in Politics in New China and Its Enlightenments

政治参与有助于减少决策失误,节约行政资源,提高行政效能,促进政府规范运作,减少和预防权力腐败,也有利于维护社会稳定。新中国成立以来,在中国共产党的领导下,我国公民的政治参与大致经历了五个阶段,取得了巨大的成就,政治参与的水平和质量得到极大提高。当前,我国已经进入中国特色社会主义新时代,我们必须继续重视制度建设,鼓励机制创新,加强对国民的思想政治教育和文化素质教育,积极采用新的科技手段,疏通和拓展政治参与的渠道,为公民的有序政治参与创造更好的条件,以满足人民群众对民主政治建设的新需求。

Political participation of the public benefits the reduction of policy errors,the conservation of administrative resources,the improvement of administrative efficiency,the facilitation of regulated government operation,the reduction and prevention of power corruption,and benefits the maintenance of social stability.Under the leadership of CPC from the foundation of New China,five stages can be found in the political participation of the public in China,achievements remarkable,its quality significantly improved.Having presently entered a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,we must keep our attention on system construction,encourage mechanism innovation,strengthen ideological and political education as well as improving their cultural quality,and,making use of new means of science and technology,discover new channels for the convenient participation of the masses into politics so that their new requirements for the construction of democracy can be satisfied.
