《人间失格》在中国的译介综述

A Review of the Translation of?No Longer Human

《人间失格》(又译《丧失为人资格》、《人的失格》等)是日本“无赖派”代表作家太宰治生前完成的最后一部自传体小说,该作品自20世纪90年代初首次译介到中国以来,经历了从无人问津到备受追捧的译介之路。结合时代背景对《人间失格》在我国的译介情况加以审视,通过远距离阅读与近距离分析相结合的方式,探究影响译介传播的相关因素,勾勒其在中国的译介历程。从宏观把握迄今为止的64种中文译本的动态变化到具体考察不同时代译本的特点。在近25年的译介过程中,《人间失格》逐渐超越《斜阳》、《维荣之妻》(又译《维荣的妻子》)等先译作品,将太宰文学的正体真正展现在中国读者的面前。从冷遇到热捧,《人间失格》的译介与传播在译者、出版方、读者等多方面因素的综合作用下实现了质的转变。

No Longer Human is the last autobiographical novel which was completed by the Japanese postwar writer Osamu Dazai before his death.Since its first translation into China in the early 1990s,it has experienced a process from neglect to obsession.Based on the background of the times,this paper examines the translation and introduction of?No Longer Human in China,and outlines the translating process by exploring the relevant factors that affect the dissemination of translation and introduction in China.By combining distant reading with close analysis,it explores the dynamic changes of 64 Chinese translation versions and the characteristics of different translations.In the process of translation and introduction in the past 25 years,No Longer Human gradually surpassed the pre-translated works such as The Setting Sun and Villon’s Wife.The real Literature of Dazai was displayed in front of Chinese readers.From neglect to obsession,the translation and introduction of No Longer Human has achieved a qualitative transformation under the combination of various factors such as translators,publishers,and readers.
