A Study of Nissin Dialogue Compiled by Japanese Military Staff Headquarters

日军参谋本部编《日清会话》初版发行于甲午战争开战之际的1894年8月。是一部由日军最高统帅机关为甲午战争而编纂的最具代表性的军用汉语教科书。至日俄战争期间,该教科书至少发行至第8版,在甲午战争以及日俄战争时期广为参战各部队所使用。该教科书虽为初学者编纂的便携式口袋书,但其囊括了行军打仗、侦察盘问、日常生活等诸多内容,可谓“大全式”军用汉语教科书。

The first edition of Nissin Dialogue compiled by Japanese Military Staff Headquarters and published in August 1984 at the beginning of the Sino-Japanese War of 1894~1895 was the most representative military Chinese textbook compiled by the Japanese supreme authority during the Sino-Japanese War of 1894~1895.This textbook with eight editions was popularly used by nearly all Japanese military forces not only during the Sino-Japanese War of 1894~1895 but also during the Russo-Japanese War.Although this textbook was just a portable pocket book,it covered such fields as the military march and fights,reconnaissance and interrogation as well as daily life,somewhat like a military Chinese encyclopedia.
