2019年中国海运进口量占全球海运贸易量的比重预计将超过20%,出口量比重将达到5%,反映出中国作为全球最主要的制造业出口国对原材料的巨大需求。而船舶定位系统(Sea/net)显示的数据为展现中国在全球海运业中的地位及重要影响提供了另一种视角。同时,通过船舶定位系统还可以了解主要港口和区域在其中发挥的作用。
China s on track to account for over 20%of global seaborne imports in 2019,and an estimated%of exports,reflecting the country’s voracious demand for raw materials and position as a major exporter of manufactures.China’s role in shipping can be put into urther context using vessel movements data from Sea/net,which can also help to shine a light on the key ports and regions playing a part.Vessel movements data can also provide intelligence on how much time different vessel types spend within Chinese waters(see inset graph).Across the whole world fleet,5%of time over the last twelve months was spent in Chinese waters,with the highest shares recorded in the bulkcarrier and containership sectors,at 10%and 9%of time respectively,followed by chemical tankers(8%),and LPG carriers(8%).So,China continues to play a central part in seaborne trade having been a clear driver of growth in many sectors.
