新型无隔膜铈铅单液流电池的初步研究

摘要 在综合考虑现有的全铅液流电池与铈铅液流的优缺点的基础上,提出了一种无隔膜铈铅单液流电池。与现有铈铅液流电池相比,它克服了电池的交叉污染问题,无需昂贵的隔膜,节省了一套循环泵与储液罐。充电时,三价铈转化为四价铈,铅离子转化为金属铅沉积到负极上;放电时,四价铈转化为三价铈,金属铅转化成为二价铅离子溶解到酸性电解液中。在5 mA/cm2充放电电流条件下,该铈铅单液流电池放电电压为1.74 V,库伦效率为87.2%,能量效率为81.0%。 On the basis of considering the advantages and disadvantages of the existing full lead flow battery and cerium lead flow battery,a kind of Membrane-less cerium lead single flow battery is proposed.Compared with the conventional cerium-lead RFB,this system overcomes cross-contamination,require no precious membrane and saves a set of pump and electrolyte storage tank.During charge of the battery,Ce(III)ion is oxidized to Ce(III)ion at the positive electrode,while Pb(II)ion is deposed onto the negative electrode as metallic Pb.During battery discharging,Ce(IV)ion is reduced to Ce(III)ion at the positive electrode,while metallic Pb is dissolved into the electrolyte as Pb(II)ion at the negative electrode.This battery has desirable advantages that include high cell voltage,simple equipment,low cost,high energy efficiency and long service life.It delivers a desirable discharge voltage of approximately 1.74 V,with high coulombic efficiency(CE)of 87.2%and energy efficiency(EE)of 81.0%at a charge/discharge current density of 5 mA cm-2.
