PICC catheter self-management ability and influencing factors in cancer patients

目的探讨肿瘤患者PICC导管自我管理能力及影响因素。方法选择2018年3月~2019年6月在我院治疗的肿瘤患者212例为研究对象,对患者PICC导管自我管理能力进行调查。单因素及多因素分析影响患者导管自我管理能力的相关因素。结果(1)212例患者中,18例患者导管自我管理能力得分<108分,占8.5%;84例患者得分108~144分,占39.6%,110例得分>144分,占51.9%。(2)单因素分析显示,年龄≤40岁的患者,高中、大专及以上的患者,健康促进生活方式水平高的患者自我管理能力更好(P<0.05)。(3)多因素分析结果显示:年龄、文化程度以及健康促进生活方式水平是影响患者导管自我管理的相关因素(P<0.05)。年轻的患者导管自我管理能力相对较好,文化程度较高的患者导管自我管理能力更好,健康促进生活方式水平高的患者导管自我管理能力更好。结论肿瘤患者PICC导管自我管理能力总体较好,但仍有部分患者得分较低。在影响因素方面,年轻患者、文化程度高的患者以及健康促进生活方式水平高的患者自我管理能力更好。

Objective To investigate the self-management ability and influencing factors of PICC catheter in patients with cancer.Methods A total of 212 patients with tumors treated in our hospital from March 2018 to June 2019 were selected as subjects.The patient's PICC catheter self-management ability was investigated.The factors that influenced the patient's catheter self-management capabilities were analyzed by univariate and multivariate analysis.Results(1)Among the 212 patients,18 patients had a catheter self-management ability score<108 points,accounting for 8.5%;84 patients scored 108-144 points,accounting for 39.6%,and 110 patients scored>144 points,accounting for 51.9%.(2)Univariate analysis showed that patients aged≤40 years old,patients with high school,junior college and above,patients with high levels of health promotion and lifestyle had better self-management ability(P<0.05).(3)Multivariate analysis showed that the age,education level and health promotion lifestyle level were the factors affecting the self-management of patients(P<0.05).Young patients had relatively good self-management capabilities for catheters,patients with higher levels of education had better self-management skills,and patients with higher levels of health-promoting lifestyle had better self-management skills.Conclusion The self-management ability of PICC catheters in cancer patients is generally good,but some patients still have lower scores.In terms of influencing factors,young patients,highly educated patients,and patients with high levels of health promotion and lifestyle are better at self-management.
