On the basis of pure electric vehicle,a small auxiliary power system is added as power supply.When the power battery is insufficient,the range extender can provide energy for the vehicle together with the power battery.Therefore,the program adding vehicle can effectively alleviate the problem of insufficient range of pure electric vehicle at this stage.The study of the optimum working curve of the extender is the basic method to reduce the fuel consumption of the extender hybrid vehicle.
