This essay will introduce some Chinese traditional and herbal drugs which had been widely used in clinical care in the area of Quanzhou(a city of Fujian province),which is the epitome of the historical development of Chinese traditional and herbal drugs in this area.As we all know,Quanzhou′s Chinese herbal medicine industry has developed rapidly,for Quanzhou is not only the birthplace of Chinese traditional and herbal drugs but also the historical witness of the development of them.These five herbs reflect the development and application of traditional Chinese medicine in Quanzhou in the past 60 years.
