A Summary of the Ethical Thought of Shui Nationality

水族人民在长期的生产劳动和社会生活中,形成了丰富的具有民族特色的伦理思想和道德观念,统称为水族伦理思想。水族伦理思想广泛地蕴含于生计方式、婚姻家庭、习俗礼仪、宗教信仰和文化艺术之中,通过规约水族人民物质生活和精神生活的方式,调节水族社会的人际关系,维护水族社会的运行秩序。在提倡加强道德建设与弘扬民族传统文化的今天,概括、梳理、挖掘水族伦理思想,不仅对充实中国伦理思想宝库具有一定的理论贡献,而且对增进水族与其它各民族之间的交流,以及对进一步发展和完善水族伦理思想,促进水族社会更加繁荣和稳定,都具有重要的现实意义。

In the long-term production,labor and social life,the Shui people have formed a wealth of ethical thoughts and moral concepts with national characteristics,collectively known as the Shui ethical thoughts.The ethical thought of the Shui nationality is widely contained in the way of livelihood,marriage and family,custom and etiquette,religious belief and culture and art.It regulates the way of material and spiritual life of the Shui nationality people,regulates the interpersonal relationship of the Shui nationality society,and maintains the operation order of the Shui nationality community.In today′s advocating of strengthening moral construction and carrying forward national traditional culture,generalizing,combing and excavating the ethical thought of Shui nationality is not only a theoretical contribution to enriching the treasure house of Chinese ethical thought,but also has practical significance of enhancing the communication between Shui nationality and other nationalities,further developing and improving the ethical thought of Shui nationality,and promoting the prosperity and stability of Shui nationality society.
