机床制造业是装备制造业的核心和基础。我国机床工业处于高度竞争的国际市场环境,国内机床企业在中低端领域具有一定竞争力,高端机床产品基本被西方企业垄断。提升我国机床工业的科技水平,实现关键核心技术自主可控,对促进我国经济高质量发展、推进工业转型升级、加强国防建设具有重要意义,事关国家安全与发展大局,应从加强行业指导和组织、加强科技创新、加强市场支持三方面协同发力。

Machine tool manufacturing is the core and foundation of equipment manufacturing. China’s machine tool industry is in a highly competitive international market environment, and now it is facing downward pressure of economy. Domestic machine tool enterprises have certain competitive strength in the middle and low-end fields, and the high-end machine tool products are basically monopolized by western enterprises. To improve the scientific and technological level of China’s machine tool industry and realize the independent control of key core technologies is of great significance to promote the high-quality development of China’s economy, promote industrial transformation and upgrading, and strengthen national defense construction, which is related to the overall situation of national security and development.
