Binary relation is one of the main content of discrete mathematics and is widely used in the fields of data structure,general topology,modern algebra,algorithm analysis and information retrieval.Combining with the characteristic of information and computational science and the author's teaching practice,we discuss the teaching mode reform of binary relation by emphasizing the application value,optimizing teaching contents,enriching teachingmethods and improving assessment ways and so on,and help us better apply binary relation to solve relevant problems.
