A Study on the Feng Rui Literature Family of the Gua Er Jia Clan

瓜尔佳氏凤瑞家族是八旗驻防中少有的文学家族,诞生于文风炽热的杭州驻防城,世代为武,从六世观成开始,实现了由武向文的转变,为其后世代有文人奠定了基础。整个家族前后历经三世,涌现出八个文人,其中有著述传世者六人,构成了驻防八旗中唯一的文艺世家。后来由金梁之侄熊飞将他们的文集收集编辑成《贵和堂三代诗存》,这与其家族重视文化教育所分不开的。他们家族成员的创作大多富有情韵,其中以凤瑞和三多最为突出,不仅诗作数量多,而且水平最高,代表了其家族的最高成就。

The Feng Rui Family of the Gua Er Jia Clan is a rare literature family in The Eight Banners Garrison.It came into being in Hangzhou city that is famous for its thick literature atmosphere.This family transited from a military family to a cultural family from the time of Guancheng,the sixth patriarch of the family,and he laid the ground for this family’s literary tradition.Three generations in this whole family had emerged eight literary men that there are six among them have books passed to the later generation.This family became a sole literary family in Eight Banners Garrison and their works are edited to be Gui He Tang Poems of Three Generations by Xiong Fei.This has a close relationship with the family’s emphasis on culture and education.The works of their family members are in major full of charm,among them Feng Rui and San Duo are most prominent,they both represent the highest achievements in this family because their works are not only in high number but in high level.
