摘要
近年来,诸多学者和教育者明确指出未来大学英语教学的定位应该是ESP教学。台湾高校以ESP为主导的大学英语教学模式非常值得借鉴。作为全国首家闽台合作办学院校,闽江学院海峡学院在授课模式和考核评价方面做出改进,但是依然需要在课程设置、师资队伍建设和教材选用方面继续借鉴台湾高校的优势办学经验去建设ESP英语课程体系以提升学生的英语学术水平和专业领域的英语水平,从而提升学生的市场竞争力和国际化水平。
Recently,many scholars and educators have clearly pointed out that ESP teaching should be the orientation of College English teaching in the future.The ESP-led College English teaching mode in Taiwan’s universities is worth learning.As the first Fujian-Taiwan cooperative college in China,the Straits College of Minjiang University has made some improvements in the teaching mode and assessment.However,it still needs to continue learning from the advantages of English teaching experience of Taiwan’s universities in terms of curriculum design,faculty construction and textbook selection to build ESP English curriculum system in order to improve project students’English academic level and professional English level,and enhance students’the competitiveness in the market and the level of internationalization.
