摘要基于概念隐喻理论,从方位隐喻、本体隐喻和结构隐喻分析了《人民日报》和《纽约时报》中有关中美经贸摩擦新闻标题的隐喻现象,探讨了常用的隐喻表征,并从生活经验、生理基础和思维模式三个方面挖掘这些隐喻背后的认知根源。 Based on the Conceptual Metaphor Theory,this paper analyzes the metaphorical phenomena and representations in China-US trade friction news headlines in People’s Daily and New York Times from the following three categories:orientational metaphors,ontological metaphors,and structural metaphors.Moreover,the hidden cognitive causes are discussed from the three aspects:life experience,physiology,and thinking modes.
