The Logic of China Higher Education Discourse System Change Since 1949

新中国70年高等教育话语体系经历了六次转换,转换中创造出的新话语体系为构建中国特色现代大学制度作出了特殊贡献。新中国70年高等教育话语体系转换的核心使命是探索中国高等教育的现代性,内生动力是发展以人民为中心的高等教育,主体任务是协调两种高等教育理想的内在张力,基本样态是高等教育国家话语占主导地位。为更充分发挥话语体系在高等教育强国建设中的作用,需在话语体系建设上进一步夯实中国特色现代大学制度的历史逻辑、理论逻辑和实践逻辑,将我国大学制度的优势转化为大学治理的效能;需以中国为中心重写高等教育的现代叙事,更加强化中国高等教育话语体系的结构性特征。

China higher education discourse system has transformed six times since 1949, which contributes to constructing China modern university system. The core mission of the discourse system transformation is to explore the modernity of China higher education;the endogenous driving force is the development of people-centered higher education;the main task is to coordinate the internal tension between the two ideals of higher education;the basic pattern is that the national discourse dominated in higher education. In order to play the role of discourse system in constructing higher education power, it is necessary to consolidate the historical logic, theoretical logic and practical logic of modern university system with Chinese characteristics in the construction of discourse system, turning the advantage of university system into efficiency of university governance;furthermore, it requires rewriting the modern China-centered narrative of higher education, strengthening the structural characteristics of China higher education discourse system.
