An Analysis of the “Blue Sky Defense War” in Beijing in the 1970s

20世纪70年代,北京市开展建国后首次“蓝天保卫战”,在群众性消烟除尘、工业合理布局和能源结构调整等方面进行了积极探索,并取得一定成就,在全国起到了典型示范作用。但由于历史的局限性,北京市保卫蓝天的形势依然严峻。

In the 1970s,Beijing launched its first“Blue Sky Defense War”after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.It actively explored in the aspects of mass smoke control and dust removal,reasonable industrial layout and energy structure adjustment,etc.And it had made some achievements,which played a typical demonstration role in the whole country.However,due to historical limitations,the situation of protecting the blue sky in Beijing is still grim.
