应用型本科英语专业学生思辨人格倾向研究--以合肥市H高校为例

摘要 促进学生思辨人格倾向朝积极方向发展是高等教育的重要任务之一。采用文秋芳团队研制的思辨人格倾向量表,对某应用型本科院校英语专业261名学生的思辨人格倾向现状展开调查,探究其和全国外语类大学生思辨人格倾向的差异。结果发现,应用型本科英语专业学生思辨人格倾向呈现出入学时水平最高,二年级下降,三、四年级再回升的趋势;学生在思辨人格倾向各维度上表现有差距,所有年级学生需要在坚韧性、自信度和寻真性等维度上加强训练和提高;和全国外语类大学生相比,应用型本科英语专业学生思辨人格倾向水平稍弱,但整体呈正面倾向。本研究结果对应用型英语专业的人才培养和教学改革有启示意义。 It is one of the significant tasks of higher education to promote students’critical thinking disposition(CTD)to develop in a positive direction.Based on WCTDI designed by Wen Qiufang with her research team,this paper reports the status quo of CTD of 261 applied English majors,and studies the difference of CTD between these students and other domestic foreign language majors.The results show that CTD of applied English majors is the highest in the first year,decreases in the second year,and rises again in the third and fourth year.There exist gaps in the different dimensions of CTD.All the students need more training and improvement in the dimensions of tenacity,confidence and truth-seeking.Compared with the other foreign language college students,CTD of the applied English majors is weaker and the overall trend is positive.The results of this study provide enlightenment and reference for the talent training and teaching reform of the applied English majors.
