Morrison’s Ideas of Dictionary-Making and Their Implications in the Contemporary Era

在"一带一路"倡议持续推进的时代背景下,汉语国际推广也日益深入,外向型汉语教学词典编纂范式亟待革新,以适应新时代需求。本文从当代词典学的设计特征理论视角爬梳了英国来华传教士马礼逊主编的《华英字典》编写理念,并探讨其对当代外向型汉英学习词典编纂的启示意义,希冀有助于该类型词典的编纂创新。

Against the backdrop of the international Chinese education under China's Belt and Road Initiative,the pedagogical dictionaries targeted at non-native Chinese learners call for innovation in terms of compilation paradigm so as to keep the pace with the wide spreading of Chinese across the world in the contemporary era.The present study explores Morrison's ideas of dictionary-making from the perspective of design features in contemporary lexicography and discusses the instructions on compiling Chinese-English bilingual learners'dictionaries targeted at non-native Chinese learners.
