From Life to Death: An Ethical Inquiry into Xiao Jianghong’s Novels

This ethical inquiry is often placed in a misplaced space-time environment by Xiao Jianghong, a story field where cycle time and separation space crowd out, intersect and overlap each other. In our life of being born into death, we can know life only by knowing death, which may be the ethical problem Xiao Jianghong tried to emphasize. However, whether we can "being towards death" or not, in Xiao Jianghong’s tragic narration, at least for the existence of human beings, reserves this possibility.
