Leveling & Sequencing is the lean production mode promoted by Japanese OEM. It is also a lean supply mode based on JIT and extended from JIS. This method can effectively stabilize production, quickly respond to demand, reduce quality cost and parts inventory, and timely expose problems, so as to improve the overall operation efficiency of the company and enhance customer satisfaction. This paper mainly discusses and analyzes how the leveling& sequencing production brings these benefits and the main challenges maybe faced in the actual operation process.
