Combined the river chief system and water conservancy information technology,constructed the river chief information technology solution iterative and growing,which have been put into operation the construction of the river chief information platform. How to ensure the good operation of the platform,operation and maintenance management is one of the important components. This paper summarizes objectives,systems,and processes of the river chief system information operation and maintenance management. It discusses the main points of river chief system operation and maintenance management from four aspects: management responsibility,system construction,management mode,and evaluation system,and design the operation and maintenance management mode of the river chief system,which has great significance for water conservancy informatization in "information water conservancy"and "smart water conservancy".
