茹孝标生平事迹考

An Investigation of Ru Xiao-biao’s Life

茹孝标,安徽舒城人。太平兴国、雍熙中(976-987)生,天圣八年(1030)及第。庆历初,时为秘书丞、太常博士。庆历三年(1043)以不守亲丧,为余靖纠弹。庆历四年(1044)左迁监光州盐酒税。庆历六年(1046),诣阙上告余靖少年犯法事,靖坐此贬官家居。庆历八年(1048)通判许州。皇祐三年(1051)知无为军,司马光作诗送之。皇祐六年(1054)知南川。嘉祐二年(1057)知江州。

Between 976 and 987 AD,Ru Xiao-biao was born in Shucheng,Anhui Province.He was admitted to the imperial examination in 1030.1n 1041,he was a small official with low salary.In 1043,his relatives died and he was blamed by Yu jing for not following the relevant regulations.So,Ru was demoted in 1044.In 1046,Yu jing was reported to have committed a crime in his youth by Ru.Yu jing was therefore demoted.In 1048.Ru became vice mayor of Xuzhou.In 1051,as the mayor of Wuwei,Sima guang wrote a poem to see him off.In 1054 to do Nanchuan county.In 1057,He became mayor of jiangzhou.
