新中国成立70周年,也是中国青年教育继往开来、赓续发展的70年。中国青年教育经历了新中国成立至改革开放前、改革开放至党的十八大召开前、党的十八大以来等阶段,不断丰富和发展,走向成熟和体系化,取得了历史性成就,实现了历史性变革,彰显出卓绝的务实性、厚郁的民族性、鲜明的时代性、强烈的实践性和显著的开放性等基本特征。新时代,青年教育事业要牢固坚持党对青年的领导;推动更多社会力量参与青年教育,积极探索和建构新体制新机制;赋予青年教育更多新的内涵,将青年教育与建设教育强国的战略相衔接,以实现青年的全面发展。
