With the rapid progress of urbanization,various localities have accelerated the construction of landscape architecture projects,which is not only conducive to promoting the ecological development of modern cities,but also provides people with opportunities to get in touch with nature for people living at a fast pace,so that people can relax their spirit and edify their sentiment while enjoying the beautiful scenery.In landscape design,it is necessary to reasonably configure and plan the plants,and further provide an important guarantee for the ecological development of the city on the basis of improving the quality of the landscape architecture.This paper analyzes the main functions of plants and the principles of plant configuration planning in landscape architecture design,and expounds the plant configuration and planning methods of landscape architecture design in detail.
