VOLTE全称为Voice over Long-Term Evolution(长期演进语音承载),是通过IP通道拨打语音电话,其承载在IP多媒体子系统(IMS)网络,通过4G的专用承载来实现语音通话。从而不再依赖传统的语音电路,是4G语音的最完美解决方案,比CSFB(4G回落3G)接续时间短,语音更清晰,还可以实现高清视频通话。随着VOLTE终端的逐渐普及,运营商开通VOLTE用户数也逐年爆炸式增长。
