Objective: To explore effects of knowledge-attitude-practice health education mode in postoperative nursing of patients with thyroid cancer. Methods: 87 patients with thyroid cancer who were treated were selected as the research subjects, and were divided into control group(43 cases) and observation group(44 cases) according to the random number table method. The control group received routine health education nursing, while the observation group received the knowledge-attitude-practice health education nursing. The medication compliance, quality of life before and after the nursing, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: After the nursing, the medication compliance rate in the observation group was 90.91%, which was higher than 74.42% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The quality of life assessment scale scores of the two groups after the nursing were higher than those before the nursing, that of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction in the observation group was 95.45%, which was higher than 81.40% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions: The knowledge-attitude-practice health education can significantly improve the medication compliance of the patients with thyroid cancer, and can improve their quality of life of patients with higher satisfaction degree.
