Inheriting the Chinese Traditional Garden Culture Should Attach Importance to the Application of Speech Works

应用楹联匾额等言语作品是中国园林的独特性之一,言语作品既丰富了园林景观和空间的艺术内容,也表达出深层次的思想观念,使园林具有更高的艺术层次。详细分析言语作品在苏州拙政园、留园、网师园、沧浪亭、狮子林和艺圃6个传统名园以及扬州、上海等地传统园林中的应用及其特殊地位、代表性和应用题材与形式,从诱导审美注意和审美期望、以景观意象丰富环境体验、引导和扩展景观审美效果、景观状态的设定和补充、激发深层次思想活动等方面讨论了言语作品的价值和意义,并针对当前园林营造中言语作品应用存在的困境和问题,提出未来的的解决途径和思路。

The application of speech works such as couplets, horizontal inscribed board and so on, is one of the peculiarities of Chinese gardens. Speech works can not only enrich the artistic content of garden landscape and space, but also express deep ideas and thoughts, which allow gardens have higher artistic level. Speech works in the six traditional famous gardens in Suzhou such as the Zhuozheng Garden, Liu Garden, Wangshi Garden, Canglang Pavilion, Lion Grove and the Cultivation Garden and other traditional gardens in Yangzhou and Shanghai are detailed analyzed, including their application, special status, representativeness, applied subject and form. The value and significance of speech works are also discussed from several aspects, inducing aesthetic attention and aesthetic expectation, enriching environmental experience with landscape images, guiding and expanding the aesthetic effect of landscape, setting and supplementing landscape conditions, and stimulating deep ideological activities. Finally, the future solutions and ideas to break through the predicament of speech works application in the current landscape construction are proposed.
