Bajin’s Literary Career in Guilin during Anti-Japanese War:The 11th Paper of the Research Series of Guilin City in the Anti-Japanese War

1938年11月至1939年3月,1941年至1942年3月,1942年10月至1944年5月,巴金三次居住桂林。第一次桂林时期,巴金的散文,真实记录了日军对中国的狂轰滥炸,表现出激昂高亢的情绪;第二次桂林时期,巴金的散文和小说,更多传达了沉郁顿挫的情感;第三次桂林时期,巴金创作翻译了大量作品,以一种更切实的姿态投入到民族解放的事业。

Bajin lived in Guilin three times during different time:from November 1938 to March 1939,from 1941 to March 1942,from October 1942 to May 1944 respectively.In the first time,Bajin’s prose during his first stay in Guilin recorded the Japanese army’s indiscriminate bombing of South China and showed a passionate and high-spirited mood of anti-Japanese.Bajin’s prose and novels during his second stay in Guilin are dominated by the feelings of depression.During his third stay in Guilin,Bajin created and translated a large number of works,all this indicated that Bajin had devoted himself to the cause of national liberation in a more practical manner.
