Science and technology innovation is the important sources of transferring medical model, improving hospital efficiency and promoting hospital sustainable development in large public hospitals. The successful experiences of science and technology innovation leading hospital development and matching medical model in Affiliated Ruijin Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University have been introduced. The important countermeasures on science and technology innovation based clinical practice and talent accumulation have been discussed and summarized to give an example for building Shanghai science and technology innovation center and leading top medical center construction.
