Brief Analysis on the Female Fate in the Literary Critics of Hu Feng

胡风在建构自己文艺理论体系、关注20世纪三四十年代整个文学创作动态的同时,也很看重那些以描写女性命运为主的作家作品,撰写了不少评论文章。在《〈大地〉里的中国》《生人的气息》《一个女人和一个世界》中,对赛珍珠《大地》、罗淑《生人妻》和路翎《饥饿的郭素娥》的思想艺术价值,尤其是女主人公的命运与性格特征进行了细致深入的分析,这对于扩大作品影响、帮助读者理解作品的价值及意义具有重要的指导作用。

When Hu Feng constructed his own literary theory system and focused on the entire literary creation of the 1930 s, he also thought highly about works which mainly describe the female destiny. He wrote a number of critical articles. In the article The China of Earth,The Breath of Ordinary Person,A Woman and A World,he has made the thorough and meticulous analysis about the ideological and artistic value of three books that Earth of Pearl S. Buck,Ordinary Wife of Luo Shu,Guo Su-e in Hunger of Lu Ling, especially analysed the heroine’s destiny and the character characteristic. His review articles had important guidance functions for readers to understand the value of the fictions well and expand the influence of works.
