不明原因发热是指临床上未能查出病因的发热,西医学对此缺乏有效的针对治疗方案。本病属于中医“内伤发热”范畴,中医非精于辨治者亦难治验。李发枝教授为全国第四批名老中医药专家学术经验指导老师,主任中医师,善用经方,博采众长。本文报告1例成人不明原因发热的中医治验经过,通过对其诊治思路的探讨,对所选方药的解析,以阐明中医方证相应,辨病与辨证相结合诊治此类疾病的独特优势和作用。

Fever of unknown origin(FUO)refers to fever of which the cause can not be clinically identified.Western medicine offers no effective treatment for this type of fever.In traditional Chinese medicine,FUO belongs to the category of“internal injury and fever”.Those who are not conversant in differentiating syndromes cannot treat diseases effectively.Professor Li Fazhi is in the fourth batch of National Senior TCM Experts in China,and is a traditional Chinese medicine department director.He makes good use of classical prescriptions and has learned broadly from ancient Chinese physicians’strong points.This paper reports one case involving FUO in an adult patient,who is treated using TCM.Additionally,it discusses diagnosis and treatment ideas,as well as analyses of the selected herbal formula and component herbs.In the process,it expounds on TCM’s unique advantages and role in treating this kind of disease,through disease and syndrome differentiation combined with corresponding diagnosis and treatments.
