Objective: To study the effects of mid-and low-production forceps midwifery on the function of female pelvic floor. Methods: A total of 106 women who underwent natural delivery in our hospital from December 2015 to November 2018 were randomly selected for clinical comparison. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group by random number sampling. Each group was 53 cases. The control group did not receive midwifery during childbirth, and the study group received low-level forceps midwifery during childbirth. The incidence of postpartum birth canal injury, neonatal adverse events and pelvic floor function injury were compared between the two groups. Results: After comparing the two groups of delivery, there was no significant difference in the incidence of soft birth canal injury and neonatal adverse events between the two groups, P>0.05. However, the pelvic floor function injury in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group., P<0.05. Conclusion: The application of low birth forceps midwifery in vaginal delivery can effectively ensure the safety of maternal and neonatal delivery, but it can increase the pelvic floor function damage and risk to some extent, so it should be assisted in the low position. After the operation, the effective pelvic floor muscle stimulation training and treatment were performed to improve the pelvic floor function damage.
