摘要
针对“水利专业英语”教学中存在的学生重视度不高,传统英语教学模式效果不显著、评价方式单一及师资力量薄弱等问题,以“学生主体,做学结合,教学相长”的教育教学理念为指导,集现代教学技术、知识传授和趣味性考核于一体,采用Mini-talk演讲模式考核学生专业英语综合的“听、说、读、写、译”能力。经过四轮的教学实践,不仅提高了教学质量,还提升了教师素养,实现了教学相长,Mini-talk演讲考核模式可推广至其他学科的专业英语课堂教学中。
Aiming at problems existing in"English for Water Conservancy"course teaching,such as students pay less attention on the course,no significant effect of traditional English teaching mode,singular evaluation method and weakness of teaching staff,guided by the teaching philosophy of"student-centered,combining learning with doing,teaching is learning",we integrated modern teaching techniques,knowledge imparting and interestingness assessment together,adopted Mini-talk speech mode to assess students'comprehensive specialty English ability in listening,speaking,reading and writing.After four rounds of teaching practice,it not only improves the teaching quality,but also improves the teachers'accomplishment and realizes learning while teaching,and the mini-talk speech mode can be extended to class teaching of specialty English for other subjects.
