Ultra high definition video industry will become an important economic growth point. This paper introduces the basic characteristics of UHD video, summarizes the current situation of industrial development, policy support and standard construction, focuses on the analysis of policies, standards and market factors that hinder the development of UHD video industry, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the development of UHD video industry.
